2 \u2013 Validation & Efficacy Studies<\/h1>\n

October 2012 \u2013 May 2014.<\/span> We will conduct iterative validation research of the DLLPs focused on two key objectives: i) to accurately reflect progressions of children\u2019s language development; and ii) to optimize the utility of the progressions for teachers. This will involve collection and analysis of data with a greater number of students and schools similar to that used to populate the progression, namely, i) student explanations; ii) classroom observations; and iii) teacher interviews and focus groups.<\/p>\n
